Summanus, the Prophet Beyond

Many millennia ago, a group of strange and evil beings ruled the world, the beings called the elder ones. Among them were M'Nagalah the one-eyed beast, and its closest ally, Pharol the mage-god. Unlike their treacherous allies, M'Nagalah and Pharol forged a link between each other, ensuring their mutual trust and survival. When the ancient human mages banished the elder ones from Arcus, M'Nagalah was locked underneath the Grave Marsh, but Pharol was cast through a portal to the furthest reaches of space. Though both slumbered, the link between them was strong. Centuries later, once M'Nagalah had been reawakened, Pharol too began to stir in the distant void. Pharol remained imprisoned, though it could sense its brother was close to liberation. It sent its herald, the being Summanus, to Arcus to ensure the release of M'Nagalah. If all goes as planned, Summanus shall free the mage-god once to wreak vengeance upon the humans.
