While most tavern-goers are contented to simply guzzle down booze without a second thought, the true connoisseurs claim that true appreciation comes from brewing it oneself. Kylix's father is one such man, the owner of a tavern and distillery in Roltas. Kylix has been helping her father at the family trade long before she could drink, and has worked for nearly as long as a barmaid in the tavern. In her time serving drinks to the masses, Kylix has learned that the customers love to harass any pretty barmaids, and despite warnings from her father, most of the time Kylix harasses them back. There are some challenges that Kylix was wholly unprepared for however, and when her father sunk deeply into debt from his various ventures, their livelihood was at risk. Though her father is incapable of salvaging the tavern, Kylix's temper, tenacity and ability to boost the morale of the surliest patron have given her the idea to join the Master's games and win the money they need to save the bar.
