In all the Duergar armies, there is no soldier so feared and respected as Fafnir Grimfist, high general of the armies of Surtsrgard. It is largely in part to Grimfist's efforts that the Duergar campaign to retake the Dwarven capital Steelhome has been at a stalemate, singlehandedly being able to match even the most ardent squad of Dwarven defenders. Grimfist has a reputation for charging headlong into danger, disregarding strength or number of foes with a burning rage, stopping only when the mass of enemies lies dead at his feet. When Emperor Starkad Onyxhand agreed to enter into an alliance with the Drow and Illithids, General Grimfist was the clear choice for the Duergar representative, and eagerly accepted the position, looking for a way to crush their ancient enemies once and for all.
